We are seeking a energetic, skilled​ Leaker Lead for opening in our facility in Arkansas City, KS. 

 

We operate 24 / 7, 7 days per week.   

 

Shift is 8am-4:30pm this opportunity will require flexibility to work weekends and overtime.

 

 

Job Summary:

Oversees and coordinates up to 15 individuals who are responsible for collecting product samples, sorting and restacking pallets, relabeling product and cases, and completing job specific forms.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate KanPak Quality activities and operations to meet objective for quality, food safety, integrity, regulatory compliances, cost, safety and customer satisfaction at KanPak
  • Participate in formulating and administering division’s short and long range goals and objectives for business growth
  • Ability to lead, organize, train, and direct team with little to no supervision
  • Ability to make informed decisions in the absences of management.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and cross-departmentally
  • Disseminates information from upper management to team
  • Ability to run the powered pallet jack, stand-up reach forklift, and sit-down forklift
  • Disseminates tasks required for restacking, sorting and sample collecting
  • Coordinates with warehouse to ship pallets/samples to facility
  • Ability to use the scan -gun
  • Performs checks of products and package integrity
  • Upload paperwork in Excel and manage tasks on SharePoint
  • Create labels and pallet tags
  • Order supplies as necessary
  • Ability to fill in in absences of team members for coverage
  • Completion of Master Cleaning Schedule tasks
  • Maintain weekly scheduling and delegate where team members will function best
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 1 yr of Warehouse or Quality experience preferred.
  • 1 year forklift experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office products
